The Obsidian Dragon • Guardian of Shadow & Flame

Dravéon is a handcrafted statement necklace created in pure copper around a striking Black Obsidian dragon pendant, paired with Dragon Agate beads woven throughout its handmade copper chain. Dark, commanding and deeply symbolic, Dravéon carries the energy of protection, grounding, strength and transformation.

At the center rests a beautifully carved Black Obsidian dragon. The darkness of the stone allows every scale, curve and detail of the dragon to emerge from its surface, almost as though the creature is rising from shadow. Rather than overpowering the carving, the copper wrapping follows its shape, securing the stone while allowing the dragon itself to remain the focal point.

The pendant continues into a handmade copper chain adorned with Dragon Agate beads. Their smoky gray, black and translucent patterns echo the colors of the Obsidian while giving each section of the chain its own natural variation. Wrapped individually in copper and connected by hand, the stones extend the story of Dravéon beyond the pendant and throughout the entire necklace.

Black Obsidian is traditionally associated with protection, grounding and self-reflection. Often considered a stone of truth, it is used spiritually as a reminder to look beneath the surface, recognize what may be hidden and release energies or patterns that no longer serve you. Its grounding associations make it especially meaningful during periods of change, personal growth and emotional clearing.

Dragon Agate carries the stabilizing and grounding symbolism commonly associated with Agate. Spiritually, Agate is often connected with balance, courage, resilience and inner stability. Its intricate natural markings make each bead unique, reinforcing the idea that strength does not require perfection. It can be steady, layered and formed through experience.

Copper brings another element into Dravéon's story. Long valued across cultures for both practical and decorative purposes, copper is often associated in modern crystal traditions with energy flow, warmth and connection. Here, it physically links every element together while its fiery glow creates a striking contrast against the deep black and smoky gray stones.

The dragon completes the symbolism.

Across numerous cultural traditions, dragons have represented extraordinary power, protection, wisdom and forces larger than ordinary human life, although their meanings differ greatly between cultures. In many East Asian traditions, dragons have been associated with auspicious power, water, prosperity and imperial authority.
