Qiréya | Clear Quartz Flame + Aquamarine Copper Adornment

Qiréya was intended to carry eleven loops.

I said it aloud before I finished her: “I want her to have 11 loops.”

But when I counted the design, there were fourteen.

As I continued wrapping, something about the placement simply didn’t feel right. I wasn’t thinking about the number anymore. I wasn’t trying to force eleven. I just followed the design, removed what no longer belonged, cut away several loops without counting them, and completed the piece where the copper naturally told me to stop.

Only while cleaning her did I think to count again.

Eleven. Exactly.

And suddenly, Qiréya’s story became clear.

Sometimes alignment isn’t found by adding more. Sometimes you arrive exactly where you’re meant to be by removing what no longer belongs.

In spiritual and numerological traditions, 11 is often considered a master number, associated with intuition, spiritual awareness, illumination, heightened perception, inspiration, and alignment. The repeating 1 can also symbolize the relationship between individuality and divine connection—the earthly self becoming increasingly conscious of something beyond itself.

At Qiréya’s center rests a Clear Quartz flame, a form symbolizing transformation, illumination, life force, purification, and the inner fire that continues to rise. Clear Quartz is commonly associated in crystal traditions with clarity, energetic amplification, intention, focus, and cleansing. Often called an amplifier, it is believed to strengthen both personal intentions and the energies of stones paired with it.

Her handmade copper chain is adorned with soft Aquamarine beads, traditionally associated with calm, courage, emotional clarity, peaceful communication, and the soothing energy of water. Its gentle energy creates a beautiful contrast with the symbolism of the flame—water surrounding fire without extinguishing it.

Together, Clear Quartz and Aquamarine represent clear thought, calm expression, emotional release, and intentional transformation. Quartz amplifies while Aquamarine softens. One brings clarity to what must be seen; the other offers the calm to speak, release, and move through it.

And then there are those eleven copper loops.

Not forced.

Not calculated into the finished design.

Simply what remained after everything unnecessary was removed.

Qiréya is a reminder that becoming more of yourself sometimes requires carrying less.
